Barcelona - New York

By Grand Central Station I sat down and wept

Adoro las dobles direcciones, el echo de partir y los raíles. La vida tiene algo de tren y eso alimenta la inspiración. Hacía mucho tiempo que no me plantaba en una estación sin un destino marcado. Normalmente, la mayoría de las veces que acudo a una gran estación es para coger el AVE en dirección a Madrid. Esta vez me apetecía visitar la Estación de Francia, una de las más emblemáticas de Barcelona sin billete, simplemente para sugerirme destinos y dejarme influenciar por la luz del lugar, que es fantástica, y por la belleza del recinto. Así que me planté allí con Ariadna y Albert, que a parte de ser dos de mis modelos predilectos son grandes amigos. La verdad es que mi viaje con ellos, repleto de proyectos, solo acaba de empezar, pero eso ya lo iréis descubriendo. Además, me encanta la pareja que hacen fotográficamente. Quizás sea por el pelo... 

Albert, como de costumbre, viste con tonos oscuros y camisa a cuadros que, admitamos, le da cierto aire hipster. A Ariadna le hice llevar vestido negro con pequeñas cerezas rojas estampadas, por que siempre está bien un toque de primavera y de color. 

I love double directions, the fact of go away and the train rails. Life has something of train which feeds my inspiration. From time ago I hadn't stood up at the station without a marked destination. (As a rule most of times that I go to the station I take the train to Madrid). This time, I wanted to visit the "Estació de França", one of the most emblematic places we have in Barcelona, without ticket just for suggest myself some destination and let me be influenced by the light of the place, which is fanciful. So, I get there with Ariadna and Albert whom, a part of being two of my favorite models, are better friends. My travel with them, full of projects you will discover soon, have just started. Besides, I love the couple they make in front of the camera. May it's because of the hair...

As usually, Albert is wearing dark tones and also a plaid shirt which has a hipster air. I suggested Ariadna to wear little red cherries printed in a black dress. It's always good a touch of spring and color.

Mil disculpas por estar estos días sin actualizar. Ya se sabe que con la llegada de las navidades, los horarios se desmontan y si la familia es extensa no es que sobre mucho tiempo para ponerse delante de la pantalla. 

Para ir volviendo a la normalidad os dejo con el retrato que le hice antes de la comida de navidad a mi prima Nuria, que cada año viene a vernos des de Madrid. Precisamente en su visita de este año ha aprovechado para quedarse con estas pedazo botas que encontramos en el Camden de la calle Tallers.

So sorry for don't post during this days. As anybody knows, when Christmas comes, the timetables became untidy and if your family is huge the time for being in front of the screen is small. To come back again to the routine, I show you the portrait I made of my cousin from Madrid, who comes every year for Christmas. During her visit, she bought this black leather boots in the Camden store we have here in Barcelona, al C/Tallers.
